## What sponsorship buys

- Top-of-category placement (one slot per category, three tiers: front-page, category, featured).
- A SPONSORED chip on the listing card so readers know it's a paid slot.
- Inclusion in the new-listings tweet thread for new-sponsor announcements.

## What sponsorship does NOT buy

- A better grade. Grade is set by the public https://www.xmr.club/methodology rubric and signed off after end-to-end testing. Sponsored listings can still be downgraded for cause.
- KYC posture re-tagging. Sponsored listings keep their honest NO-KYC / LIGHT KYC / HEAVY KYC chip.
- Removal of competitors. A sponsor's competitors stay listed at their honest grade.
- Editorial coverage. We don't publish sponsor write-ups; the listing is the surface.

## Tiers (current offer mix — subject to revision)

- **Front-Page Sponsor** — top banner on every page; one slot globally.
- **Category Sponsor** — top of one category page with SPONSORED chip + accent border; one slot per category.
- **Featured Listing** — SPONSORED chip on the listing card; unlimited slots.

## How to claim a slot

1. DM https://t.me/xmrclub_bot — include provider name, category, tier interest. Or use the per-category CTA at the bottom of any category page: https://www.xmr.club/sponsor?cat=<category>.
2. Curator reviews for content fit + posture compatibility (we don't accept KYC-required services, custodial wallets without published audits, or providers credibly accused of fund theft).
3. On approval, sponsor receives an XMR invoice. Slot goes live on payment receipt.
4. Refund of unused portion offered if the provider's posture deteriorates post-sponsorship and we have to downgrade.

## What's coming (OpsHub #345)

- LN + USDT-via-uPay payment rails alongside XMR (currently XMR-only).
- Self-serve checkout for renewals; first-time sponsorships stay curator-vetted.
- 7-day renewal nudge via @xmrclub_bot before sponsorship ends.
