## Editorial review

Every remote-node trust assumption falls away when you run the daemon yourself. monerod is a single binary, syncs in ~24h from scratch (or 30 minutes via bootstrap), and runs on 4 GB RAM happily. Pair with your own wallet over an SSH tunnel and you've removed the operator from the trust circle entirely. Listed first not because it's an external service but because it's the answer when this list isn't.
